Tisha Lee began her broadcasting career in her hometown of Akron, Ohio where she attended The University of Akron. She opened the mic in 2001 at the college run radio station WZIP-FM 88.1. While attending college, she served as an intern in Cleveland, Ohio at WENZ 107.9. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and Media-Communication degree in 2005.
In 2005 Tisha Lee was hired by WJUC 107.3 in Toledo, Ohio as co-host and producer of “The Juice Morning Crew”. She has been nominated “best radio personality” for the Ohio Hip Hop Awards, and 419 Music Awards. In 2013. She is also the Production Director and InternshipCoordinator for WJUC. Her voice and radio production is heard all over the globe on commercials and radio station production.
Currently, Tisha Lee holds a board member position at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center Kitchen for the Poor, and has served as a board member for the YMCA of Greater Toledo. She has served as a Media Ambassador for the American Heart Association “Go Red for Women” campaign and Lucas County Children Services. She is currently an instructor at The University of Toledo, and is working on her master’s at Bowling Green State University.
